Home Fellowships/Small Groups
Home Fellowships and Small Groups are ministries that are open to anyone regardless of their faith commitment or membership status in the church. The atmosphere of both is warm and non-threatening and is an ideal place to connect both for newcomers, and those seeking to better understand the Christian faith. They provide an environment where Christ ministers to and through us, where relationships are nurtured, and where people care and look to the concerns of others.
Home fellowships meet in various homes in York County while small group meet at our church. Visit the groups to find one that you can call home! Meeting dates, times, and locations are listed each week in the bulletin and can be found on the Weekly Schedule page.
You can also call the church office, 717-767-4772, to be put in contact with one of the group leaders for more information.
BULLETIN FOLDERS Small Group
A fun group of people meet every Friday morning at 8:30 at Providence. We start our time together in service to Providence by folding and stapling the Sunday morning bulletins. It is followed by refreshments and a Bible study. We would love to have you join us! Contact Larry Hughes or the church office for more information.
EAST YORK Home Fellowship
We meet the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 7 p.m. Sept. - May. We start with a short time of conversation and snacks, followed by our study. A time of prayer, followed by a time of fellowship closes out our evening.
While the group started with people from the East York area, we are now from all areas of York county and even Lancaster county; Therefore, geographic location does not define us and we would love to encourage anyone who is interested in joining us. Contact Sue Palmer for more info.
The Avenues Home Fellowship
The Avenues home fellowship meets at the home of Warren and Jami Bailey. It is open to all ages and includes childcare. They meet the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 6:30 PM. We would love to have you join us! Please contact Warren if you are interested.
Providence Seniors Home Fellowship
Providence Seniors is a new home fellowship that will meet the third Friday of the month. Come for lunch at noon and spend the afternoon enjoying fellowship, fun, and friendship.
SAGINAW Home FELLOWSHIP
Saginaw Fellowship meets about once a month on a Friday night, at the home of Doug and Nancy Dickey. We gather in the evening at 6:30, to share a light supper followed by the teaching of that month’s lesson. The lesson is discussed to seek, and to gain wisdom and understanding of God’s word and its application for us today. We have a time of prayer at the end of the study.
Young Adult Ministry
Out of high school? Single? Married but haven’t started a family yet? Come and join us the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, 6:30-8pm at the church.
Every 3rd month there will be a gathering held outside of the normal study. This is a great time to build relationships and grow closer together. Activities include family style dinner, game night, going to the movies, and much more. We are a group where all opinions are respected and we want everyone to feel welcome.
